  1. Title to the merchandise of this sales order does not pass from our company to purchaser until merchandise is paid in full and the product has been delivered to the customer.

  2. We reserve the right to cancel this sales order at any time by notifying the purchaser in writing and returning any monies received on account against this sales order.

  3. We will not be liable for delays or failure to ship due to war, strikes, floods, accidents, government demands or priorities, labor disturbances, shortages of supplies or materials or other conditions beyond our control. Cancellation by the customer of this sales contract will result in the forfeiture of the money received by Sebastian Adams Furniture Inc. NO CASH REFUNDS ARE AVAILABLE.

  4. It is your responsibility to check your order for accuracy especially with regard to style numbers, finish, and fabric and cushion choices to make sure you are getting what you ordered. Any Errors in pricing or arithmetic are subject to correction.

  5. Since every item ordered is a custom order, once your order has been verified and approved for manufacture by our verification department, we do not allow you to cancel your order, or refuse delivery. The reason for this is to keep our pricing as fair to everyone. We are very strenuous in our quality control inspection, and the order is checked again for damage and defects by our White Glove Shipping Carrier.


    Because our products are all produced "Special Order" for each individual customer, cancellations would drastically increase our pricing. It is your responsibility to be certain that you are absolutely sure that you wish to purchase our fine furniture before you place your order. 

    What is the return policy?
    Please be very decisive when you decide to purchase furniture from Sebastian Adams. All furniture shown on this website is considered special order, which means it is manufactured just for you and cannot be returned. Your new furniture is insured against damages, so any damage claims should be filed with our shipping vendor.

    What is the cancellation policy?
    Once we receive your order, it is processed by our verification department. We contact you by phone to verify your identity, and to confirm that you have read our Sales Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return Policy. This is your only opprotunity to cancel your order. Upon confirmation that you indeed wanted to place the order, and you agree to these policies, we do not allow cancellations. The reason is that every order is manufactured just for you, also known as "Special Order".

     

  6. Delivery charges are also nonrefundable. If under extremely rare circumstances we ever did agree to accept a return, the Freight charges for returning the item(s) are your responsibility.

  7. Shipping rates are those prevailing at time of shipment and are subject to change. Should shipping rates change, it is our responsibility to notify you promptly. Shipping times cannot be guaranteed, however, Sebastian Adams will ship all freight as soon after production as possible.


  8. We are not responsible for fit and/or entry of furniture in your home. We gladly provide you with dimensions for all furniture shown on this site on each products details page, and they are readily available to you prior to purchase.


  9. In the event of damage, please be aware of the following when handling a freight insurance claim. All merchandise is insured, and when received should be inspected for damage, such as crushed corners, scratches, dents, punctures or water marks. If any damage is present, please note the nature of the damage on all copies of the delivery documents and have the driver sign them. Retain a copy for your records. We do not allow refusals of our deliveries as your order is considered custom order. We will work with our carrier to decide the proper course of action to remedy damages.The carrier may request that you keep the merchandise and they will authorize a local furniture craftsman to restore to our original specifications. Any freight charges for Merchandise returned will be your sole responsibility. If any damage is noticed after the driver has left, please contact the carrier within 24 hours.


  10. All new furniture may have small amounts of pumice dust, wax, glue, superficial scratches and possible packing marks from the wrapping materials or blankets. Pine knots, cherry pits, color and variations in wood grains and scarring in leather are natural characteristics and are not defects, but rather hallmarks of quality furniture. It is impossible to control the expanding and contracting of woods caused by many different humidity conditions throughout the country. Sebastian Adams nor the shipping carrier are responsible for drawer swelling, door adjustments or leveling of items.


  11. Sebastian Adams Inc. does not guarantee the durability, wearing quality, and fastness of color of fabrics, vinyl's, or leather products, however, they will be covered in accordance with our Warranty.  


  12. Sebastian Adams Inc. is not responsible for collecting or submitting use or sales tax for any state other than North Carolina.
